Okay... a few things we want to set straight. First, we're not performing at the Jersey State Fair on Friday but for some reason it says we are. That's a mistake so for all you wonderful Jersey peeps... we're not there. We have our Welcome Back Show on Monday, July 13 and we are proud to be opening for All Time Low at the brand new Bay Stage at Jones Beach in Wantagh, NY. We will be posting our full radio promo tour and weekend "The Best Things in Life Are Free" acoustic shows tomorrow or Friday. We are waiting for the routing and the process is tedious and time-consuming so please bear with us while we get everything confirmed. We promise to make the weekends special and we hope to see you at some of the radio performances we post. We will be traveling for the next 3 months hitting every Top 40 radio station across the United States promoting our new single Midnight Romeo. If you love the song, please request it at your favorite radio station. We appreciate your support... but you knew that!
JOKETIME: At a Catholic school, there was a "meet the teacher" open house for the 2nd graders. After the meeting, a Nun announced that there would be a small reception afterwards in the cafeteria. All the children and parents filed in, and saw on a table a plate of apples, a plate of cookies, and some water bottles and juice. As the children went through the line, one boy saw that there was a sign on the plate of apples that said, "Take only one. God is watching." So, the boy took an apple and moved on to the cookies. He helped himself, and then took a small piece of paper, and wrote: "Take all you want”. God is watching the apples."

TODAY is gonna be saweeeeeet! We're wrapping up recording with Matt Squire today and we're doing what we call an all nighter! A 24 hour stretch so we can roll into LAX airport tomorrow and spend 6 hours on the plane sleeping... we hope! What a whirlwind week but all good things must come to an end. And we apologize for not being on myspace as much as we used to. We've also updated our facebook so please hit up our wall. And follow us on twitter if you don't already cuz we try to hit you up there as well. One thing we gotta let you know: our new album is.... OMG it just IS! But... as the old adage goes: all good things also come to those who wait! September 29 is the date. BUT NOW IS THE TIME TO REQUEST MIDNIGHT ROMEO AT YOUR RADIO STATION!!!! We start our radio promo tour on July 6! 
OH AND THIS JUST IN: We have moved our drop date for our webisodes to July 15!! Sorry for inconvenience but we want to keep the webisodes in line with the radio tour!!! 
JOKETIME: An out-of-towner drove his car into a ditch in a desolated area. Luckily, a local farmer came to help with his big strong horse named Buddy.
He hitched Buddy up to the car and yelled, "Pull, Nellie, pull!" Buddy didn't move.
Then the farmer hollered, "Pull, Buster, pull!" Buddy didn't respond.
Once more the farmer commanded, "Pull, Coco, pull!" Nothing.
Then the farmer nonchalantly said, "Pull, Buddy, pull!" And the horse easily dragged the car out of the ditch.
The motorist was most appreciative and very curious. He asked the farmer why he called his horse by the wrong name three times.
The farmer said, "Oh, Buddy is blind and if he thought he was the only one pulling, he wouldn't even try!"

USA Today! Read ALL about it! And the beauty is that this paper is a US paper, not a local paper, so you can pick it up at any stationery store in your neighborhood! And if you can't find it, then Monday we will tell you about it.
BUT WE CAN DISCLOSE THIS NOW: 
PUSH PLAY'S BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE TOUR!
As most of you know, we begin our radio push for Midnight Romeo July 6 and will be traveling across the US during the week to various radio stations for about 3 months. Every weekend except for the weekend of July 11 and August 21(those weekends we will be on Long Island), we will be performing free acoustic shows set up by our street teams and promoters. It's our way of thinking outside the box, especially at a time when economic conditions are pretty much the worst ever. So here's your opportunity NOT to spend your parents' money(or yours) and just settle back with us enjoying LIFE, LOVE and PUSH PLAY MUSIC! Here's where we will be the first 2 weeks:

One mo' day til you hear the news but it won't be from us! You have to pick up a copy of USA Today and READ, READ ALL ABOUT IT! EXTRA, EXTRA!! You see, not only are we advocates of BUYING music rather than STEALING it by downloading it off of certain youtube sites BUT we are also advocates of the NEWSPAPER biz which seems to be another dying breed because of the age of the Internet. So, our news is your news but in the newspaper! Think of it as saving another job for that newspaper employee. Ok... we're off our soap box. Now let's talk music. We're rolling into Day 4 in the studio. All we can say is that WE GOT THAT FEELIN' you are gonna LOVE this CD! It's a labor of love. We're working hard, really hard, putting in 12 hour days everyday. We can't wait to hear your reaction. Yes you have to wait til autumn but: soooo worth the wait. Now tomorrow we will be posting our BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE acoustic show tour dates so be on the lookout for them. And yes, they're free! 
JOKETIME: Little Billy wanted $100 badly and prayed for two weeks but nothing happened. 
Then he decided to write God a letter requesting the $100. When the postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, USA, they decided to send it to President Bush.
The President was so impressed, touched, and amused that he instructed his secretary to send Billy a $5.00 bill. 
President Bush thought this would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy. 
Billy was delighted with the $5.00 and sat down to write a thank you note to God, which read: 
Dear God, 
Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Washington D.C. and, as usual, those crooks deducted $95.00.

And welcome to summer!!!! Being in Cali has its very good points: you can't tell summer from winter BUT we feel summer is in the air cuz we're noticing that people no longer have school and now are on myspace all times of day and night. Well we're recording most of this week and next week, adding songs to our "much awaited" album. Over a year in the making... and WHAT A DIFFERENCE a year can make. This album is our journey... something that an incredible amount of thought, rehearsal, intensive labor has been put into to make it sonically appealing and mind sticking. You see, after the album is released, we want comments like: "couldn't get your songs out of my mind last night" or "I whistled your song on the bus today" or "I was running to the beat of Derek's drumming in that song on your album" or... well you get our drift. haha! 
OK: RADIO PROMO TOUR WILL BE ANNOUNCED FRIDAY and WE WILL BE IN A CITY NEAR YOU THIS SUMMER! THAT'S A PROMISE! And our guerilla acoustic weekend shows will be FREE. And you already know: THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE! So there you have it: Our summer radio tour is now being named: THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE TOUR!

 This was part of the morning bulletin yesterday that I didn't get to post. But they are doing a radio tour! Check it out!

 

One day of recording done 13 more to go! So... we have our peeps ramping up the radio promo tour and laying the land for our summer weekends of free acoustic shows in cities throughout the US for your enjoyment. And although these shows are free, we do ask one thing of you: that you bring a person who has never heard of Push Play to our show. Yep... here's your chance to make new friends. And we were further thinking that you should bring a guy if you're a female fan. Yep, yep, that's our thinking! And why? Well here's your opportunity to ask a guy out... but in a way that doesn't LOOK like you are asking them out. It's more of a "hey, wanna go to this free acoustic thing. There's this band called Push Play and they're really good and really fun and down to earth. Why don't you come down, it's free and is gonna be a blast!" AND BY DOING THAT, you are helping us to increase our fanbase! Now if you're a guy, we want you to take a girl that's never heard of us! And hey, you get off cheap... Lucky you! So what do you say?

To all you dads out there, we wish you a fannnntabulous day! Time to pull out the barbie(not the doll... the cue... bar be CUE) and let US grill for you!!! Except... we're gonna be on a plane to California.​.​.​again!​ We've wrapped up our 2 days here in Nashville filming our music video and it is time to do what we do best: record music. We are going BACK in the studio for 2 weeks to add the remaining songs to FOUND. Constantly tweaking... you see we want this album to be one of the breakthrough albums of the year. Having been working on the album for well over a year, and all the while growing as musicians, we have amasssed hundreds of songs, all written by us, some with the help of longtime songwriters.​.​.​hey sharing is caring... and other songs we've written totally alone with no guidance at all except for our gut! And when this album lands in stores and on various digital sites, we're hoping you buy it and love it. We do and we are so freaking stoked for you to hear it! So off we go to record with one of the best producers of all time: Matt Squire...once again!

So...myspace is messin' with ya! We posted the morning bulletin AND... it's not there!!! What's with that!!! We're looking at the comments and people are asking where it is! VANISHED! Must be this Nashville humidity. My hair is reaching the sky, Derek's hair is too wide to get through the door, Nick has gone afro like the Mod Squad and Steve's hair has these tiny tiny curls now.
